I just completed my BLS certification here with John and was lucky enough to be the only one who signed up. I practically got a 1-1 lesson. If you want an instructor with real life experience that knows how to engage with you for the best learning, this is the place to go.
John is very experienced, informative and makes the class enjoyable. He went above and beyond to incorporate real life experience and expectations, which help you grasp the information.
This was my first time getting my BLS certification and John made everything so smooth and understandable. He referenced real life situations and gave us pointers when we could do better. Loved this class and will definitely re-certify with John!
Generally, if you work in the hospital or are considered a licensed healthcare professional (certified, licensed or degree) then you are required to take a Basic Life Support Class (BLS).
You are authorized to take a BLS Recert Course. You can still take a Full course if you want, but you are also authorized for a Recert Course.
You have to take a Full Course.
You will either need to take a hybrid course or a 1-on 1. Hybrids are half online/half skills testing. 1-on-1 are all in person, with no online portion needed.
You need to have a book. You can rent one from us, buy one from us or buy one online.
You most likely need HeartSaver CPR, AED & First Aid. Typical people that need this course would be childcare workers, massage therapist, construction workers, counselors, teachers, law enforcement.
As long as it’s a healthcare provider course and it’s less than 30 days from expiring, then you are good to go: you can take a recert course.
